Please find below the text of the resolution regarding the closure of the Town of Keene Community Center building. WHEREAS, A HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INSPECTION RECENTLY FOUND ASBESTOS CONTAMINATION THROUGHOUT THE TOWN OF KEENE COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING, RENDERING IT UNSAFE FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC. Keene Public Library 2024 Annual Report

We are pleased to present our Annual Report for 2024 to the community. This marks our first full year of operations in our building since reopening in July 2023, and the results are promising. Notably, there has been an increase in our outgoing interlibrary loan (ILL) requests, indicating that our collection development is attracting interest throughout the tri-county library system. Additionally, we observed a rise in the number of borrowers in 2024, with each borrower saving an average of $390 per year by borrowing instead of purchasing books and DVDs.
