The Transfer Station will not be taking compost due to recent bear activity. As soon as the town acquires and installs a bear-proof shed normal composting service will resume. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please find below the text of the resolution regarding the closure of the Town of Keene Community Center building. WHEREAS, A HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INSPECTION RECENTLY FOUND ASBESTOS CONTAMINATION THROUGHOUT THE TOWN OF KEENE COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING, RENDERING IT UNSAFE FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC. The Bi-Monthly Town Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday April 29th, 2025 at the Town Hall has been cancelled.
