Mission
The Keene Youth Commission was established and charged with the responsibility for the coordination of all youth programming within the municipality to ensure that the youth are served with the best possible youth development.

An attendant is available at the skating rink during the below days/times:
Mondays – 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Skates are available for free of charge at the warming hut on a first come first service basis. Skate sizes vary.
When the warming hut is closed you may use the lights that are on a timer which are located on the side of the building.
Nordic Skiing

A 10-week cross-country ski program available for grades K-6. The program includes lessons, equipment rentals, and seasons pass. Coach Sophie McClelland runs the Nordic ski program. Sophie focuses on creating a fun and positive atmosphere for the kids as they gain lifelong cross country ski skills. This program runs from December through March.
Alpine Skiing

A seven-week down-hill ski program available for ages 8-18. The program runs on Sundays from 9 AM – 4 PM. The program includes lessons which are optional. Ski equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. This program runs from January – March.
Sport Programs
We offer team sports that include baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Sport programs are offered throughout the season with scheduled tournaments.

A seven-week summer program available for grades K-6. The program includes recreational activities, crafts, trips to ECHO Museum in Burlington, VT, Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Queensbury, NY, Lake Placid Center for the Arts shows, beach trips and much more. Haley Garno Potter is the Summer Camp Director. This program runs from July – August.
Mountain Biking
A mountain biking program available for all skill levels. Locations change weekly. This program runs in the fall.
