The Hiker Shuttle to the Garden parking lot will not be operating this holiday weekend, October 10 & 11, 2026. No driver is available. To try and protect pedestrians, manage traffic, and keep intersections clear, we are taking the following steps. There will be traffic cones at the intersections of Adirondack & Market Streets with Rt 73 to keep cars from parking in the intersection. On Saturday morning, there will be a town employee at the stop sign between Market & Adirondack street who will be turning back cars. Residents of Adirondack & Market street can pick up 2-3 traffic cones in the parking lot of the Fire Department if they want to block off the end of their driveway to keep it clear. I will drive around Monday afternoon and pick them up. It’s going to be a one last busy weekend, so thanks for your patience.
